Dennis Deal

Dennis Deal

Although Deal has written, directed and staged shows for The Manhattan Transfer's Cheryl Bentyne (Dreaming of Mister Porter), Scott Bakula (An Evening with Scott Bakula for Washington's Fords Theater), numerous presentations of the award-winning a capella group, The Accidentals, and even a "come-back" act for The Chordettes (Mr. Sandman), Dennis is mostly remembered for his stylish, musical send-up, Nite Club Confidential (what Theatre Week labeled "...the camp masterpiece of cabaret theatre!") which he directed Off-Broadway, on London's West End and in Los Angeles, where it enjoyed a year run at the Tiffany Theatre. On the other side of the planet, he has directed New York Fringe Festival productions of Tri-Sci-Fi and The Attack of the 5O Foot Walt Whitman.
